Designed to also function as a traditional tea room, KUMOI allows guests to experience the beauty of Japanese aesthetics while enjoying tea surrounded by the rich nature of Amanohashidate as known as one of Japan's Three Most Scenic View and often called as "Bridge to Heaven".

In 2023, the bedroom was expanded by incorporating an additional room.
At the same time, a large-scale Japanese painting titled “Shinra” by Mutsuo Kawashima, exhibited at the 22nd Nitten Exhibition, was installed in the bedroom.

The space was designed with the hope that guests may enjoy a deep and peaceful sleep, as if surrounded by a calming forest.
For ultimate comfort, the room is furnished with premium SIMMONS mattresses.

Along with the expansion of the bedroom, the bathroom, vanity area, and restroom were fully renovated in 2023.

KUMOI features two contrasting tea rooms.
The larger tea room is an open and airy space where guests can enjoy the surrounding nature through wide windows, creating a harmonious connection between tea and the natural landscape.

In contrast, the smaller tea room is dimly lit and enclosed by traditional earthen walls, offering a serene and contemplative atmosphere.
With softened light and deep tranquility, it embodies the essence of traditional Japanese aesthetics, ideal for quiet reflection and meditation.

The contrast between these two spaces reflects the philosophy of Yin and Yang as well as of ZEN spirit — light and darkness, openness and intimacy — leaving a lasting impression on the heart.
